Generative Computing: Suntracking Louvre
This is a project that I began during my GSRA appointment and decided to use the opportunity in generative computing to visualize it with grasshopper in rhino. The grasshopper definition inputs an azimuth and i,j,k value from a spreadsheet. There is an index slider that moves through the spreadsheets. This is a patented design that I am working on the visualization and application of. The following image shows how the panels stay tangent to the azimuth blocking all direct light while allowing ambient light to pass through at other angles as well as people to see outside.
